We have an outstanding sales opportunity for an individual seeking a fast-paced and challenging environment. We are looking for a direct sales (face-to-face) professional to help increase sales of our expanding product line to both current and new clients.
Based in London you will be working on a range of Payment Efficiency, AML Compliance products and Consultancy Services selling information and software solutions to financial and corporate institutions in the UK and Europe. These solutions include various web query tools, data files and software applications designed to help institutions:
(i) Improve the efficiency of payment processing to help save time and money
(ii) Reduce the risk of doing business with individuals and entities engaged in money laundering, terrorist financing and fraud to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce reputational risk
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve agreed sales targets for assigned territory cost effectively
- Ensure that key accounts are clearly identified and developed to increase sales
- Create and maintain information about key accounts including but not limited to; (i) organisation structure; (ii) key contacts and job functions; (iii) how and where Accuity products are used; (iv) message transactions and account volumes; (v) new areas of sales opportunity
- Ensure that the required number of outbound "cold" calls and sales meetings are made to achieve sales targets
- Feedback competitor activity and industry information to help increase sales
- Use and maintain a good working knowledge of the current Accuity business system
- Ensure that all mandatory paperwork/reports such as pipeline reporting and travel expenses are produced as required and on time
- Facilitate communication between Accuity Support and the customer as needed and ensure that all customer feedback is accurately reported
- Represent Accuity at conferences and exhibitions, including speaking opportunities at seminars
- International travel may be required
As a member of the International Sales Team, the Business Development Manager will require a consultative approach to selling with a strong focus on new business sales, including the ability to build a pipeline from both new and existing accounts. This role requires a highly skilled sales person with the natural gravitas and professionalism to present solutions to C-level executives, managers and technology professionals.
Job Requirements The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years' direct sales experience with a successful track-record selling information-based software solutions to financial or corporate institutions. Knowledge and experience of the payments industry and/or AML compliance market would be a distinct advantage. Additional qualifications include: being well organised, self-motivated with a proven track record of success in new business sales; determined, results driven professional with a consultative approach to selling; proven ability to create a sales opportunity within an account; a strategic approach to account management with the tenacity and integrity to close high value deals; Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills; Graduate calibre; Proficient in MS Office software and a fluency in one or more European language in addition to English would be advantageous.
